Mary Elizabeth’s mom has chosen to fundraise through Help Hope Live because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay for a van or reimburse medical and living expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.
Mary Elizabeth was born at 23 weeks of age. She has been fighting various illnesses with a smile on her face for 6 years. A few of these illnesses are cerebral palsy, epilepsy, periventricular leukomalacia and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Mary Elizabeth’s mom needs your assistance with purchasing a van. She said, “Wheelchair accessible vans are so expensive! If I can just get help with a down payment then I will finance the rest. I can’t pay $35,000 for a vehicle on my own.” Pictured is Mary Elizabeth in a van rented by Make-A-Wish of OK. Right now, Mary Elizabeth and her mom have to wait for her nurse, neighbor or friend to come by to help them load her wheelchair in their vehicle when she needs to go somewhere.
