I am a 38 year old wife and mother of 3 beautiful girls. I currently have 4 autoimmune disease, 2 of which caused my kidneys to fail. I’ve always been a healthy active person until my immune system went crazy. In 2019 I was diagnosed with Lupus, aHUS and polymyositis. I’m a strong person and believe in my heart I have a lot more to do with my life. I’ve proved the doctors wrong time and time again. I’ve fought my way back from death, was on a ventilator in ICU, I can walk (just not a long time) after the doctors said I wouldn’t and now I’m getting stronger every day. I’ve always supported my community and volunteer when and where I can.
I know 50,000 may seem like a lot but there’s going to be a lot of after care and the anti-rejection meds are very costly and depending on where I get the transplant I may be required to stay locally (Cleveland, OH or Charelston, WV) for 1 month. Please give what you can and share if you can’t. May God bless you and thank you for your time and consideration.

Family and friends of Jackie Crabtree are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
