My husband, papa of two beautiful granddaughters (Harper and Hazel), and father to our daughter Chelsea has a rapidly progressing lung disease (NSIP) and is in need of a double lung transplant to not only extend, but save, his life.
Tim has always been selfless and and never lets the challenges of his lung disease defeat him. One of his biggest worries is leaving his two granddaughters behind, who continue to be his biggest drive to fight. Tim has always put his family’s needs before his own.
While Tim’s health insurance will cover many of the transplant and medical expenses, there are many things that won’t be covered: hotel stays to be closer to the hospital, transportation, and some costly anti-rejection medications. Please help our family to financially survive with gas, food, lodging, bills, etc. In addition to Tim’s needs, Shawn has been unable to work since May due to her own surgery, she is Tim’s primary caregiver for all of the transplant testing.
Family and friends of Tim Loos are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
Tim has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.
