Thank you for your support!
Well Hello everyone, Yes it's been awhile since I've been on here. Everything seems so overwhelming at times. The constant pain, being nauseous, lack of appetite, having no energy to do anything. It all comes and goes and then comes again. This disease is no joke. Its silent and I'm the type of person who will hide it well. That is except for the muscle wasting, I'm not looking like the healthiest man at this point but I'm still pushing and fighting.
I just want this time to thank those of you who have donated. I so appreciate you all!!! Like I said all these funds will be used for medical expenses only as I have no access to them myself. Majority of will be used for post transplant while in Murray Utah. I hope you all have a blessed day.
Well It's Sunday 5.30.21 feeling alright today other than the aches and pains associated with liver disease. Spoke with my transplant coordinator and he said they are listing me for the transplant so it could now happen at any time so well see. Honestly feeling a little nervous being I'll be on the table for 8hr give or take is what I'm told. definitely a major surgery so I guess it's expected. I'll be moving down to Murray Utah to be within a close proximity of the transplant center and will remain there 4-6 weeks after surgery so expenses are going to add up so any help would truly be appreciated. I'm just so grateful to have another chance at living life. I feel blessed in so many ways even now. I'll keep updating as the days go on. some days I just have no energy to do anything but I push myself even more. Liver disease sucks!!! but I refuse to lay down and let it beat me.
Well as of 05.20.2021 I've been notified by my transplant coordinator that I was unanimously approved to be placed on the transplant list. What a blessing it was getting such awesome news and my family well they was just as happy if not more. That was the first hurdle to be overcome with many more to come. I was diagnosed with stage 4 decompensated liver disease which means my liver is at a place where it can no longer function as it should to sustain a satisfactory lifestyle without medical treatment and transplant which is the reason I've started this donation site to help with medical costs which definitely adds up and more so now that I've had to reduce my weekly hours at work because of my existing health conditions. I'll continue to update my page when I can. I definitely appreciate with much gratitude any donations you make that is why I chose this site because its designed and set up to make sure all tax deductible donations are used for medical purposes only so rest assured all donations will be used for medical related expenses. Thank you, Gary
