Ervin’s long journey of battling Heart disease has come to a critical point. He is now in a critical stage of heart failure and needs a Transplant to Survive. We are asking family and friends to join us in fundraising for the Nonprofit Help Hope Live to help with critical expenses Ervin will face immediately after surgery, including cost of lodging near the transplant center where he is required to stay for 2 to 3 months following his discharge.
Ervin has always lived a positive and productive life despite his chronic health condition. He has never allowed his health issues to keep him from doing and enjoying the job he loved at Savannah State University. He always lived and projected a positive attitude and a way of life that helped him to live with the inevitable for a long time, however now his heart is only functioning at 16% or less and he needs our help.
Ervin has health insurance, however many transplant expenses are not totally covered, such as the monthly medications he needs to protect his heart from being rejected by his body. Ervin has been told to anticipate upwards of $5,000 per month for medications alone.
Donations to Help Hope Live can help ease the financial burden of the transplant and allow Ervin to focus on a healthy recovery and a long life ahead with me, family, and friends.
