Please help the Avalos Family

They are combatting the financial burden of an unexpected and aggressive form of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis that is attacking the lungs of Jaime Avalos. He is a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many. Jaime’s prognosis started in the beginning of 2021 with an unexpected and sudden decline in health that left him gasping for air and rushing to the Emergency Room. His condition has been deemed so severe that transplantation is his only option as no medication or amount of oxygen will alleviated his overworked lungs. After three separate week long visits to the Emergency Room and an expedited transplant evaluation, we are thankful to announce that he has been placed on the transplant list; however, even though he has insurance, many transplant costs are not covered.
The financial burden has just started for Avalos family as the bills from ambulance rides, hospital stays, treatments, medications, and lab work are arriving in the mail. This financial burden is quickly intensifying with costs of the upcoming transplant, post-transplant medication, hospital visits, check-ups, and in-home care.

Jaime Avalos and his wife Haydee Avalos had just retired weeks before the advancement of his condition. As immigrants from El Salvador, they were planning ways to enjoy their hard earned retirement life together. Jaime and Haydee are thankful for the opportunity for the transplant and hope to overcome these circumstances in the near future. We ask that you please find it in your heart to donate to his cause and help him receive the treatment and surgery he urgently needs.
