Her profile went live on the national transplant list this week so its perfect timing for this fundraiser to go live as well.
Being the primary breadwinner for her family, getting laid off from her full-time job in November 2020, was devastating for her. But, as always, Lee persevered and quickly found contract work for another local non-profit supporting the Multiple Sclerosis community. Now, with Lee being too ill to work, it means no salary nor short-term disability. Her savings account is dwindling quickly. Unemployment is not an option and SSDI could take up to 5 months to be approved.
Lee believes she was put on this earth to be of service to others and has been active in the community since 5th grade. She has volunteered, helped, supported, rallied, fund-raised and donated to many non-profits whose mission she believes in. It is now time for us to show her some of that same support.
Lee herself, nor her family, would ever ask for this type of financial support themselves so I am asking you to search your hearts and give what you can to help support them through this difficult time.
May God bless you for any time, prayers, good vibes or any financial support you can spare. I know Lee and her family will be eternally grateful and so will I. Lee knows her work here on earth is not finished. She desperately wants to clear this latest hurdle and move on with the business of enjoying life again and lifting others up however she can.
We are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live in honor of Lee Kilborn to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplant

Hello again, Terri here, providing an update on Lee's health and our fundraising campaign. We are a little over 2 months post-surgery (actually, that should be plural) and Lee is recovering well, if a bit slowly for her liking.
First, on behalf of Lee and her family, thank you to all those who contributed financially whether via this fundraiser or other avenue. Due to your generosity, the Kilborns have been able to keep current on mortgage, car notes and medical insurance. The amount of support from those that know and love Lee (even some who don't know her personally) is absolutely astounding.
Lee has had her liver transplant and received a kidney as well! She is home and recovering well. Thank you all for your support!!
Lee is doing well, doctors are happy with her recovery so far!
She has gotten all of the “tubes” and such removed, nausea is lots better and she is resting and feeling more like herself! I Praise The Lord for this miracle and am grateful to all who have sent prayers, hugs, good vibes, food for family, monetary donations and any positive energy to her and her family. She is so thankful for it all. I am grateful to you all as well, and I know her family is too! Blessings to you all

I'm so sorry to hear this, but I also know that Lee is a fighter! I wouldn't be where I am today without her leap of faith, guidance, and support. She was a gem of a boss and mentor for me several years ago and I don't think she'll ever fully know how much she impacted my life, my compassion, and personal confidence. I'm so thankful for the experiences we had together. Regardless of all that, you are in my prayers, Lee! ❤❤❤ -Beth Snyder De La Cruz
