I am asking for your help raising funds for my dearest, best friend of 40 years, Lee Kilborn. Ironically, the teenage party girl that quit drinking at the age of 21 has been diagnosed with end-stage liver disease (cirrhosis) referred to as *NASH” and requires a life-saving liver transplant.
Her profile went live on the national transplant list this week so its perfect timing for this fundraiser to go live as well.

Hello again, Terri here, providing an update on Lee’s health and our fundraising campaign. We are a little over 2 months post-surgery (actually, that should be plural) and Lee is recovering well, if a bit slowly for her liking.
First, on behalf of Lee and her family, thank you to all those who contributed financially whether via this fundraiser or other avenue. Due to your generosity, the Kilborns have been able to keep current on mortgage, car notes and medical insurance. The amount of support from those that know and love Lee (even some who don’t know her personally) is absolutely astounding.

I'm so sorry to hear this, but I also know that Lee is a fighter! I wouldn't be where I am today without her leap of faith, guidance, and support. She was a gem of a boss and mentor for me several years ago and I don't think she'll ever fully know how much she impacted my life, my compassion, and personal confidence. I'm so thankful for the experiences we had together. Regardless of all that, you are in my prayers, Lee! ❤❤❤ -Beth Snyder De La Cruz
