On July 18, 2021, Ioanna (Anna) Sanoulis was involved in a motor vehicle accident. She suffered head to toe trauma. After time in the ICU, Anna was transported from our hometown of Spartanburg, SC to the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, GA.
It is extremely difficult for Anna to deal with and heal from this trauma while so far away from her sisters, family and friends, and especially her 7 year old son, Weston. Anna is anxious to get home to Weston.
While Anna is making great progress, she still has a long road to recovery. Her needs include ongoing rehabilitation therapy, durable equipment needs, medications, home modifications and many other out of pocket expenses.
Donations to Help Hope Live in honor of Ioanna Sanouis will directly assist in transitioning home and easing the burden of medical expenses.
Family and friends of Ioanna Sanoulis are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with Catastrophic Injury.
Ioanna has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.

She was inpatient receiving care through the Acute Brain Injury Program until October. She then transistioned to the Shepherd Pathways program until December.
Although Anna has made remarkable recovery from her significant injuries, she continues to require brain injury rehabilitation via outpatient, Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapies.
Anna discharged home in December with a tracheostomy. She is expecting surgery for tracheal stenosis and to repair her vocal fold. She continues to travel to Atlanta, Ga to receive care from an Otolaryngologist.
