Dales carries many roles as a husband, father, papa & friend. He has struggled many years with breathing issues due to many underlying conditions, but mainly Bronchiolitis Obliterans. It has come to a critical point in time that the doctors are saying he needs a double lung transplant.
He was hospitalized in October 2021 with severe Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension. He had undergone surgery to place a Hickman central line in his heart. Now he is on a pump 24/7 receiving costly medication to help keep the pressure down from the pulmonary arterial hypertension. We have come to realize that some of the medications are surprisingly not covered.
We want to be able to keep papa around a long time. With our friends and families help we can.
