Help Lillie Get a Lung Transplant!

I am Lillie Plate, age 64. I’m from Auburn, New York. I’m trying to get medically prepared to be added to the list to receive a lung transplant. I have alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency that causes a genetic COPD. I’m in end stage which has led me to need a transplant to survive. Last August, I went to UPMC for a complete lung evaluation. Those tests showed there is also a problem with my heart that needs addressing prior to my addition to the transplant list. I am looking forward to being able to live a normal life again and being able to spend quality time with my family members once again. Family outings and gatherings have been severely limited due to my lack of lung function which is currently only 20%. In the process of getting to lung transplant, I have incurred and will incur many out-of-pocket expenses for medical bills, transportation, and co-pays. I am praying that people might help me reach my goal of transplantation by donating even a small amount to help me pay for expenses. I thank everyone who finds it in their heart to help me.
