My name is Elizabeth Hartman and I am a mother of three beautiful children: Isaiah(13), Mason(3), Sydney(1) and I am engaged to an amazing man named Andy that has been by my side through this entire experience. On December 22nd 2019 I was in a life altering car accident resulting in a T10 Incomplete Spinal Cord Injury. When I spoke to the doctors in the emergency room I was informed that I was pregnant and the baby may not survive, following daily checks it was confirmed the baby would be okay. I had surgery on December 27th and after went to inpatient rehab for three weeks. Shortly after I came home from inpatient rehab the COVID-19 pandemic began. Due to my pregnancy and my injury I was deemed high risk making me unable to go to physical therapy. I delivered my daughter in August 2020, discovered a Stage 4 Sacral Wound(which had to be surgically debrided resulting in being bedridden until May 2021 when I was able to return to physical therapy) and we also moved into a new to us house(my grandmother passed away in June 2020).
I am fundraising for swim therapy to improve my mobility. Any and all help is greatly appreciated and such a blessing to my family and I.

Family and friends of Elizabeth Hartman are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with Catastrophic Injury.
