So, my family and I began researching all options and agreed that signing up for the transplant list was the best choice for a chance at a longer, healthier life. Although there were many challenging obstacles to overcome to be placed on the transplant list, I endured and successfully met all the requirements. After the surgery, I will be required to live near the hospital for treatments. Unfortunately, this means I must leave my family in Charlotte, NC, for three to four months to live in Chapel Hill, NC. This journey is life-changing but costly, so any donation you give will be greatly appreciated.
Family and friends of Sharnet Anderson are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
Sharnet has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.
