In this time of struggle, Hemity (DeeDee) needs your support to continue to be part of the lives of her children and family.
DeeDee has been battling liver disease for the last 3 years. It has worsened to the point of liver failure and has left her in crucial need for a liver transplant.
DeeDee, is a mother to 3 amazing children, the oldest one only being 8 years old. Despite the liver disease, she has continued to be a supportive and loving wife and incredible mother. DeeDee plays a large role in many people lives…especially, in the lives of her family.
Currently, DeeDee and her husband are looking at a monthly cost of $7,000 for medications alone. Her husband is working hard trying to provide for their little family. When the time comes for the operation, he’s going to have to stop working to be able to take care of her. Their insurance is through his work, so he’s going to try and balance work and taking care of his sick wife so they don’t lose their insurance.
Anything helps in the time of need, especially donations. Helping ease the financial burden and can help to ensure DeeDee gets the treatment she needs and continues to watch her children grow.
Family and friends of Hemity Ami are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
Hemity has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.
