The day Christina was discharged from the hospital, her team of doctors sat down with Christina’s mother and was told that Christina has a very rare disease call Ohtahara Syndrome and that her life will be very hard and challenging years to come. Christina is now 11 years old with severe physical and cognitive disabilities. Despite her disabilities Christina is a very happy and sweet little girl, with a smile and sweet soul that will immediately win your heart. She makes every hard day so worth it. We are asking for donations for a wheelchair accessible van for Christina and mom ( a van that will allow Christina’s wheelchair to be loaded, as she’s getting to big to be picked up and put in a car seat) Having a wheelchair accessible van will allow Christina the freedom to travel and visit her family more. Christina loves Sesame Street and moms goal after getting the van is to take Christina to Sesame Place in Bucks County PA! We thank everyone who has looked at Christina’s Campaign and anyone that have donated money to this much needed fundraiser, we can’t appreciate you all enough!!! It takes a village to raise a child but it takes the world to raise a special needs one!!
Christina has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.

I have met Christina and fell in love with her on meeting her. She is a beautiful little girl, with the most precious smile and laugh, when welcoming you. She loves people and the exuberance she shows when, she first meets you, is amazing. She will make you feel loved. I have known Christina for two years, she is in a wheelchair, cannot sit up by herself, stand or walk. In the two years I have known her, she has grown so much it is difficult for her mother to pick her up. Her mother, who is single, has developed severe back problems from handling Christina.
