Many of you know a very special person to us, Mary Keenan. Mary is a fun loving adventurous mother and aunt who encouraged all of us to get outdoors, to be curious and to explore. Most of all to have good, clean fun. Some of you may know her years of work at (BP) Amoco or from her church (Southwood Baptist Church) in Tulsa. Still others may know her from Classen High School class of ’64. Mary retired in October to spend time with friends and family and enjoy life in general. Currently Mary is stable but will have more tests in January.
In August of 2010, Mary was diagnosed with NASH (Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis), or end stage liver disease. Her health has rapidly deteriorated to the point that her doctors at Integris Baptist Medical Center have told us that her only option now is a life-saving liver transplant. Although Mary has insurance, it will not cover all of the enormous costs involved in the extensive transplant process. This puts us up against a challenge that we can not meet alone.
A fund raising campaign in Mary’s honor has been established with HelpHOPELive (HelpHOPELive). HelpHOPELive is a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization that has been providing assistance to the transplant community for more than 28 years. All contributions are administered by HelpHOPELive exclusively for uninsured transplant related expenses. Donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. Won’t you please consider making a tax-deductible contribution to Mary’s campaign today?above.
It is never easy to ask for help and now is certainly no exception. Mary has touched the lives of many and we deeply appreciate all your positive thoughts, support and prayers. At times like this, the assistance of family, friends and the community is crucial to help ensure a positive outcome.
With sincere gratitude
Justin Keenan (Mary’s son) Rose Salazar (Mary’s niece)

Hillcrest Hospital - Volunteer Services
I have been a volunteer at Hillcrest Medical Center for eight years in the Well Baby and Neo-Natal Intensive Care Nursery. I love giving to the ones that give back so much. It is my passion to continue with this if possible after my transplant. If not I will continue to help in any way I can. Currently the transplant team does not want me to be exposed to any virus that could be harmful to the success of my surgery. The Volunteer Office and members are collecting money for my transplant fund which will help greatly for the out of pocket expenses that will be incurred from the transplant. I love them all very much and really appreciate all they are doing for me.

Mary,
I am Janie Calhoun's sister-in-law who is preparing to go on the mission field to Scotland. Janie told me about you and I am praying daily for the Lord to provide the funds needed and everything else in this time. May you sense His presence and strength as you walk through this chapter of your life!
