Wow Andrea, you are one incredable human being. Your circumstances, and what you've gone through really struck my heart. I had actually let the donar on my driver's license lap, and when I recently got a new Dr., I marked the NO box on the donar sheet. I forgot the reason I have always wanted to be a donar, for what ever some one like you could benifit from. I am amazed at myself, and am so glad to have you cross my life path. Best wishes to you Andie. My husband underwent a K-P transplant at the UW 14 years ago. After living with Type 1 diabetes and the ravaging complications for 36 years, the surgery miraculously changed his life, my life and the lives of our three children. The staff at the UW were (and still are) incredibly supportive. I hope all goes well for you- waiting for those calls can be very stressful - it will be worth it:)

Dearest Andrea, you are such a wonderful, smart, caring gal and I'm so happy that through all these years we are still in each others lives. When I complain about my leg, bills or pain I feel like such a sissy compaired to what you have been ensuring for years. The majority of the time you are in the hospital you never tell the world, it's just something you endure quietly unlike this baby. I hope to god you get your transplant and can work towards living a longer, hopefully easier life after. I will pray everything works out. I had no idea of the struggles you have had to deal with. Though iv only seen you a couple of times since school, you where always someone who had a spirit about you that touched people in a very positive way.
