I’m opening this campaign in hopes of receiving donations to help with the exuberant costs that come with needing a liver transplant.
A song you put on repeat, a poem or painting that stays put on the end of your eyelashes, as well as the smell and symphony of a campfire. These are just a few of the reasons I am so excited for a second chance to not just live but thrive. I love to give back through small, personal outreach projects as well as with local organizations and groups. I also enjoy volunteering at local festivals and taking small everyday steps to help through recycling and removing waste from public land.
Donations would so immensely aid with many things I easily thought of and not. The costs of appointments add quickly, cost for the necessary diet with this diagnosis is extremely high as everything has to be as pure, unprocessed, free of sodium, unhealthy fats, and unnatural sugars as possible which leads to them being very expensive.
The non-negotiable medications. These bad boys are probably the overall biggest must have. They have to be taken every day in order to live. They run about 1,500 to 3,000 dollars a month, depending. These are not covered by insurance.
The quickest and easiest way to help me be able to continue my journey of growth, spending time with my loved ones, giving back to my community, starting my career once I’m healthy enough to, and trying to give help and belief to others. I truly am beyond grateful at a second chance to live, be a better me, and leave people and places better than I found them if I can.
Thank you for your time!

Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.”

I would like to memorialize Sarah Vas Spradlin, in the most beautiful way possible. She was lost to this disease and the grief is palpable.
