Isaiah was born with Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia Type 3A (HSP3A). HSP3A causes his muscles to be very tight and have a lot of spasms in his legs. The spasticity can also cause his bones to deform from the tightness. The form of HSP that he has is progressive which means it will continue to get worse as he gets older. He has had 8 surgeries. His last one was in May 2024. It was on his right wrist and elbow. Isaiah is unable to walk, stand, or transfer on his own and probably never will.
Andrea was born with Spina Bifida and has had over 35 surgeries. Her surgeries have included multiple back surgeries, as well as her left hip being fused. When it was fused, it was fused rotated in about 30 degrees from where it should have been. After walking for about 25 years like that her left knee failed in January 2021 and in March of 2021 it was replaced. Since then if she walks even for a short time, she develops sores on her left foot. She has had to go to use a wheelchair full time. In January 2024, she had surgery to remove all the hardware holding her hip fused so they could cut her femur and rotate the lower part of the leg back out 30 degrees and put in a new plate down the side of her femur from top of her hip to the knee. With hopes that it will stop the scores so she can get back to walking.

Thank you to everyone that came out to our last fundraiser at Jim Dandy. Hope to see you at our next fundraiser that we are still working on ideas for.
I know it has been a long time since we did our fundraiser. We still do not have a van due to still not having enough funds. Isaiah is about to get a new power chair that is very heavy and his mother's health has been making it where she has been almost a full-time wheelchair users as well. We will are still working to get money raised to help us fund a van.
