Mimi, Mom, Friend, Val, Laundry Queen….Whatever you call her, chances are you have been on the receiving end of her generosity at some point in your relationship. She is one of the most giving people we know. Now is your chance to return the favor. For those of you who don’t know, Val is looking at a liver transplant in the near future, likely within the next year. The family and friends of Val Frank are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with liver transplantation.

Val has been battling liver disease (NAFLD) and nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) since her diagnosis in December 2017. She has been busy with doctor appointments, tests, and managing her symptoms as best she can. She recently began discussions with her team about liver transplant, and is very optimistic about this opportunity. We do not know the exact timeframe for when the transplant will take place, but it is only a matter of time and it is all in God’s hands. Her 7 grandsons need their Mimi around to see them grow up and have families of their own. Her husband of 43 years and her 3 children need to see their wife and mom return to better health and be able to live the high-energy lifestyle she desires.
