Family and friends of Pamela Seaton are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.

Pamela has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.

My daughter Pamela (Dove) Seaton is in desperate need of your help. She was born with several congenital heart defects: pulmonary stenosis, ventricular septal defect, and Tricuspid Atresia (meaning she has no tricuspid valve).

The problems with her heart have now reached a crucial point. She has been in heart failure for over ten years, and her heart continues to grow weaker. She also has severe liver damage as a result of her heart problems. Her doctors have told her she needs to have a heart/liver transplant to survive.

I’m asking for as many people as possible to join me in fundraising for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to help her with the many expenses she will face before and after surgery, including the cost of lodging near the transplant center where she will be required to live for at least a year.

Pam has always lived a positive and productive life despite her chronic health conditions. She has never let health challenges get in the way of achieving her dreams—from becoming a teacher to playing the piano at church. Pam’s positive attitude and lifestyle helped her avoid the inevitable for a long time, but now her heart and liver are wearing out, and she needs your help.

While she has health insurance, many transplant expenses are surprisingly not covered. We anticipate upwards of $4,000 per month just for housing, food, and medications alone. Donations to Help Hope Live can help ease the financial burden of a transplant and allow her to focus on a healthy recovery and a long life ahead.

Note: Please share with all your friends and family.
