William has a hereditary heart disease that is reducing his heart’s ability to pump blood through his body. It is the same disease that took his father from him when he was just 13 years old. Nearly 3 years ago, William’s heart began to fail and an LVAD pump was implanted to support heart function. William’s heart is continuing to decrease in functionality, now is working at 11-15%. Due to his rapid decline in health, he has been placed high on the transplant list. He is a strong willed individual and is determined to be there to see his children grow up.
There are many expenses such as travel cost, required temporary housing near the hospital of 6-8 weeks, and critical medications not covered by his insurance. We are asking you to join his family in a fundraising campaign.
We will be hosting a silent auction via Facebook or in person. From December 9-17th. Items up for auction can be seen at Cut-N-Loose hair salon during their normal business hours, at 508 pine tree rd. Longview, Tx. For more information, please contact Teresa Dickson @ 903-424-9990
William has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.
