Alivianna is an amazing 17yr old who has a zest for life. No matter what life throws at her, she fights back with such grit and amazes us all. Alivianna’s daily battles with her chronic diseases cause her to have many specialists on board. We travel to Nationwide Children’s in Columbus, Ohio almost every month, multiple times a month depending on her medical issue at the moment. Medical diagnosis include; Spinal muscular atrophy type 2, Gerd, G-tube, Nissen Fundoplication, Right hip dislocation, Tourettes, Oscilopsia and Depression/Anxiety. Unfortunately new to her medical issues is a DVT, deep vein thrombosis from her abdomen to top of her left knee. She was then diagnosed with May-Thurner syndrome. Since she is power wheelchair bound, she will need to be on blood thinners, in the form of a shot, for the rest of her life. When switching to a liquid form of blood thinner, she unfortunately was developing alopecia and had to stop. Despite all of this, she keeps herself busy with school, crocheting, artistic drawing, video games, sfx makeup and more. Adding even more to the list is our van was stolen and is a total loss from the damage it sustained from the theft. Alivianna is stranded in the home as of now. And for her it’s quite the disruption of her life. She depends on it, medically and for fun. Please help her get mobile again.
Family and friends of Alivianna Gallup are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with Catastrophic Illness.
Alivianna has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.
