Help HOPE Live for Ryan Bowman

Family and friends of Ryan Bowman are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.

I was very sick for months leading up to new years eve 2021 i went to ER that evening and a few hours later my life was changed forever. i was told by doctors my kidneys were failing , i was anemic and deathly ill. i was admitted to hospital and stayed almost a month. i was told by doctors i was in end stage renal failure , a kidney biopsy confirmed and by the first week of february i had a catheter placed and was told by nephrologist i needed to start dialysis 3 days a week for 3 hours/45 minutes to start removing the fluids and toxins my kidneys could no longer filter. I’ve been on dialysis since doing much better than i was 1 year ago although dialysis is a rough journey and some tough days. i now am focused on getting a kidney transplant. I’m currently listed at uc health in Aurora. i need to raise some money for post care expenses mostly lodging while im staying in denver colorado recovering. My mother passed swat on November 29 2023. It’s been a tough adjustment as she was my best friend & we lived together for almost 50 yrs. But I’m trying to remain strong & continue on my journey as I know she would want me to. Actively searching for living kidney donor. uchealthlivingdonor.org for inquiry
