Sept 24 2021 I was in a horrific car accident. I was passenger in a truck that hit head on with a tractor trailer. My back was broken T11 & T12, both ankles, 11 ribs and I suffered some internal damage.
That night changed my life forever, I woke up paralyzed. Going from an active and avid gym goer to never walking again is still an adjustment. Every bit of my old life had been ripped away from me.
This last year has also shown me how broken some medical care and insurance is. Whats best for the patient is not typically what you get. After 4 months inpatient at a hospital I was discharged out into a new world I knew nothing about, left to figure it out on my own. I got approx 2 months of 2 times a week physical therapy at a generic outpatient facility before insurance cut me off and deemed me good to be on my own. 2 months of therapy for a severe spinal cord injury is almost useless.
So now I need to help give my body the chance it deserves to beat this. With your help I can have the chance to go to a proper physical therapy center and cover my new adaptive medical needs.
Family and friends of Andrea Napolitano are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with Catastrophic Injury.

Today I start my journey to recovery at the Motion Project, a place that specializes in spinal cord therapy! Thank you to all who have donated and helped make this dream attainable.

Found this amazing spinal cord injury rehab! This is my goal and dream to be able to go here! Everything is state of art and specialized in what a spinal cord injury victim needs! Insurance does not cover so PLEASE help me raise money to make this possible.
1/2023 has marked my 4th spinal and back surgery. Drainage of fluid build up in my spinal Cord and complete replacement of my loosening hardware supporting my spine. After a couple months of healing I’m starting to get back to my strengthening routine.
