Hope means living life.
Hope to me is being able to see my son go to kindergarten Hope is believing anything is possible Hope is being able to see my sons grow alongside my husband Hope is to be able to spend more time with my parents and family Hope is life. Hope means living life.
A current Flemington, NJ resident . At the age of 18, Jessica was diagnosed with Mixed Connective Tissue Disease which showed up as Rheumatoid Arthritis and for many years managed ok with it all. Her lungs showed some scarring from the RA for about 17 years, which got worse a little worse when she was pregnant 5 years ago (to the point that was told by a couple of different doctors not to have Johnathan) She was very lucky to find the doctors at Penn Medical Center and they said they would she would be able to carry Johnathan with extra care. Her lungs took a drastic change and in a matter of 2 months, her symptoms were getting worse to the point that she was fainting. In January 2023, she was admitted to Penn for a month. The doctors said that her lungs have gotten worse and she developed severe Pulmonary Hypertension, which basically means her heart was working too hard trying to keep up with her lungs, plus the vessels in the heart that go to the lungs got weak. Jessica must now have a double lung transplant in order to live. She was released from the hospital on many medications for her lungs and heart and is now on oxygen 24/7.
As you can imagine this is a huge life-changing event and with it comes $$$$ expenses. We are raising funds in hopes to try and make that burden a little less for her family. She will be required to relocate close to the hospital for 6 months post-surgery. She will need therapy 3-4 times a week. She will need a caregiver. Jessica will be required to take anti-rejection medications for the rest of her life that cost hundreds of dollars. Please contribute what you are able to spare and share Jessica’s story with your community.
Family and friends of Jessica Alonso are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
Jessica has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.

Vamos hacer lo humanamente posible pero que sea Dios quien muestre su gracia, amor y favor en todo. Que sea Dios quien los llene de su paz y poder estar más que confiados que a Él le pertenece todo el oro y todo el poder.
