Official single left lung transplant is ~ 8/5/2023 ~
His on his 3rd day out of surgery & he’s doing very well! He was up & walking after 31 hours out, it makes my heart smile :)
We owe Everything to his donor & their family ❤️
As of 7/1/23 he is fully listed on the National Organ Transplant List! :)
After I get my new lungs we have to temporarily relocate for 6 months to a year as we live 5 hours from UW Madison, we’ve done this by ourselves but we have nothing left for our out of pocket expenses like rent.
We love where we live so we are planning on paying our mortgage along with rent. We hate to ask for financial help but I can’t get my transplant without financial help. I just want to have a life where I can breathe freely.
Thank You in Advance!
