Family and friends of Matthew Nix are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
Matthew has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. We had a little bit of a set back today. The hospital is asking for a few more tests to be completed. We will get these done and then continue toward a transplant. Right now the end of July/beginning of August is our new goal. All we can do is keep moving forward and fighting the good fight. Thank you all for your positive thoughts and prayers.

As of right now I have a transplant scheduled in Dallas on June 28. I have come close a few times so fingers are crossed that this is able to happen. I will go to Dallas on June 25, for my pre op appointments on the 26th. I will have to have one time of dialysis at a clinic in Dallas on the 27th. And hopefully it will be go time on the 28th.
