Thank you all for your support and love. I wanted to update everyone on my health. I still have hurdles to overcome but I am still hanging in and fighting to get healthy again. Due to all the meds from before my transplant and afterwards now it has affected my kidneys. I am still having to take a lot of meds for the liver to prevent rejection. Now, I am also having to go to specialists for my kidneys. This is scary and frustrating but I have great support from family and friends.
Due to all the costs from the doctor's appointments and medications, I am reaching out once again with the Helphopelive foundation to everyone for help with the costs. I want to thank everyone who has been here for me in everyway. I have the best family, friends and doctors on my side. Thank you for being my support group, my life saver and my emotional support through it all. I made it through a life saving surgery, a liver transplant, recovery which is still going on and the loss of my sister. Without each and everyone of you I couldn't have made it through. All the prayers for me, my brother and my whole family were felt. I especially want to thank my Aunt Sally and Kathy, Michael and my niece, Stephanie for staying with me so they could get a break away from me and my talking! Lol. Aunt Sally, thank you for going all out for me when the others weren't able to be there. I couldn't have made it without you or the rest of my family and friends. Everyone in my life has made a huge impact on my life! It will take time to heal but I will bounce back better than ever. Life is tough, but so am I!

Praise God! Stacey received the gift of life today! She was contacted this morning concerning a possible match for a liver transplant. After anxiously waiting, she was informed that it was a match! Stacey spent hours in surgery, and she is currently recovering in the ICU surrounded by family and friends. The months ahead will be hard, but Stacey is strong! Please keep her in your prayers! She will need help financially through this long process of recovery. Stacey will have to stay in a hotel room in Oklahoma City for the next 3 months (due to transplant requirements), because her home is too far away from the hospital. If you are able to give, please do. Thank you!

Hello everyone! A few updates on what is going on. At the end of September, I had a procedure called a Liver Tip, which is a liver stent. This was placed to help the liver out and to move the fluid.
On October 1st, after working all day, I had something happen, and not knowing how I got home had a bout of confusion and just wanted to sleep. My family found me at home, not being myself after they had problems waking me. I later found out that the ammonia level from the liver cirrhosis was extremely high and could have easily gone into a coma or not wake up at all. I have been in the hospital all week and am weak and still a little foggy. This was such a scary moment for my family and myself. My coworkers was also a big help sending someone out to help me and my family get to the hospital. I just wanted to send this update and say thank you and to let everyone know that things do happen to us when we are fighting diseases like cirrhosis of the Liver and other health conditions.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post. This is one of the hardest things to do, to ask for help. I need help in covering all the costs with not just a transplant but with medications running over $2500 and more a month, doctor's visits, gas and toll and other expenses that go along with this procedure. If anyone can please help and donate any amount is appreciated more than you know. If you are not able then please share to your friend, family and social media so others can see how important any transplant is for everyone. Family and friends,
I am having to have tests run and procedures done to prepare for a liver transplant. Due to having Crohn's Disease and other health problems I now am in liver failure due to having Cirrhosis of the Liver from medications. I am having to fundraise to cover costs and meds for the rest of my life. I would appreciate any help you can give whether it's a donation or sharing this and spreading the word for me. It is all very important to not just me but to make others aware of what an organ transplant does for the recipient, donor, family and friends. Please help any way you can.
