A Lifeline for Mom: Uniting to Conquer PBC Liver Disease

We are reaching out to you today with hope in our hearts and a plea for help. Our beloved mom, Jamie, is battling a rare and severe condition known as Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC) liver disease. This chronic illness has taken a toll on her health, and her doctors have determined that a liver transplant is her only chance for survival. PBC liver disease is a chronic condition that slowly damages the bile ducts in the liver, leading to a gradual loss of liver function. As the disease progresses, the body’s ability to process toxins and waste diminishes, impacting her overall health and well-being. Our mom’s courage and determination in the face of this relentless disease inspire us daily, but she needs our help now more than ever.

My mom is special because of her unwavering love, boundless compassion, and infectious positivity that she shares with everyone around her. She has a unique ability to make others feel valued and cared for, creating a warm and inclusive environment for all. To connect her to the community, we can organize community gatherings, events, or support groups centered around her interests and passions, allowing her to interact with like-minded individuals and foster meaningful connections that enrich her life and the lives of others. Additionally, sharing her inspiring story through social media and local media outlets can help spread her message of hope and love, inviting others to be a part of her journey and create a strong network of support and understanding.

Isaiah 41:10 - God strengthens you
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. God has promised us His strength. He will never give you a trial you are unable to handle.
