My name is Marina Andres, I’m 24yrs old and have a 5yrs old daughter named Lilliana.
My life changed in a blink of an eye on June 2022 when I was diagnosed with left ventricular heart failure. When I got the news, all I could think about was that I needed to do everything in my power to be there for my daughter and my love ones from that day on. I have overcome a lot of obstacles like Hospital stays, miss school events, not being able to have a job and helps support my family, and my daughter not being able to understand the situation at hand. If it wasn’t for the love and support of my wonderful partner, my mother, my aunt, my sister and her daughter’s, close friends and last but most importantly, my little girl. I don’t know how I could’ve gotten through this so far without all of them. I pray, and hope that the community can come together and help support me in this time of need.
