Help Hope Live for Dominic Cataldo

Family and friends of Dominic Cataldo are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with Catastrophic Injury.

On August 6th 2023, at the beach with his friends and brother for his birthday, Dominic got caught off guard by a wave while swimming in the ocean at Montauk. Dom was carried out of the water by his friends, unable to feel his lower body. He was immediately airlifted to SBUH where they diagnosed him with a t9 spinal cord injury and 2 completely broken ribs. They performed surgery on his back, yet Dominic is still unable to regain feeling or control of movement from his belly button and below. Dominic is now being treated at a rehab facility in Boston where he is working hard to regain his mobility.
