Hi my name is Dominique. A little bit of a backstory on me is I have been homeless a few times as a child living in a hotel with my mom to being a homeless runaway. To escape my rough situation I thought I found my knight in shining armor. He was a veteran who ultimately has SEVERE PTSD . He began abusing me cutting me hanging me son out of a window to scare me . He has cut my hair out of head with a knife choked me until I passed out , tried to slit my throat but sliced my hand open because I grabbed the knife right in time . That’s just to name a few things that I had to go through . When I found the courage to leave I found out I was pregnant with our daughter and after delivering my daughter I was diagnosed with postpartum cardiomyopathy! It shook my entire world. The heart failure has worsened over the years and the last two months I have been in the hospital undergoing surgeries and procedures and nothing is resolving my conditions. For the past 11 years life has been so hard but I’m hopeful now since I am qualified for a heart transplant. I need to move my family to Chicago where the hospital is that is doing my surgery. I have not been able to work due to my condition. Please consider donating to my family I don’t have a big family that would help me and I’ve been so mistreated that my PTSD and social anxiety makes it nearly impossible to make friends so I’m desperately asking .
