Help Give Michelle a Second Chance!!

Michelle’s battle with renal disease has come to a critical point. After living with renal disease for 23 years, Michelle is in End Stage Renal Failure, as well as living with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) for the past 5 years. As of September 2023, Michelle has been approved as a double transplant candidate for a Pancreas/Kidney transplant at The University of Kansas Health in Kansas City. Michelle is now in kidney failure and in need of a transplant to survive. We are asking friends and family to join us in fundraising for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to help with the expenses Michelle will face immediately after surgery, including lodging near the transplant center where she is required to stay for a minimum of two weeks following her discharge, as well as for antirejection medications.
