Help Give Michelle a Second Chance
After more than two decades battling renal disease, Michelle’s journey has reached a critical point. Now living with End Stage Renal Failure and Type 1 Diabetes (T1D), she has been approved as a double transplant candidate for a pancreas and kidney transplant. at The University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City.
Despite living with chronic illness for over 23 years, Michelle continues to face every challenge with courage and determination. She is a devoted wife and proud mother of three wonderful daughters, and recently completed her Bachelor’s degree for Criminal Justice Administration, achieving an incredible milestone while managing her health. Her strength and positivity continue to inspire everyone who knows her.
To survive and recover, Michelle urgently needs a transplant- and support for the difficult journey that follows. After surgery, she’ll need to stay near the transplant center for at least two weeks for close monitoring and will face ongoing expenses for antirejection medications, continued medical care, travel, and lodging.
We’re reaching out to friends, family, and our community to help give Michelle the second chance she deserves by donating to her Help Hope Live campaign.
When you give through Help Hope Live, you can be confident your contribution is tax-deductible and managed responsibly- funds go directly towards Michelle’s medical and related expenses.
