Van got his new liver on March 4th and has been recuperating in the Pittsburg area and we will be here for the six few weeks, maybe more. He has a lot of follow up appointments. Our insurance doesn’t cover everything and we need your help.
Thank you all for continued prayers. We really need your support for our medical expenses, which include our lodging, co-pays, Van’s anti-rejection meds which he will need for his lifetime and more. Please consider a donation.
Thanks to many for your support!

He is gonna kick cirrhosis butt!!
Van is doing well he did have a hospital visit on Feb. 1 due to pain and luckily they gave him some medicine and sent him home. The medicine is really helping so far so good. He still has little bouts of nausea during the day at times but nothing like he was having. So... so far so good. We are suspecting he will get a liver soon so prayers for everything to work out including financially.
Van dropped another video update please subscribe and share. He is such an amazing husband and father. Van has a heart of gold and wants to help others who struggle with any disease to know we are here just message us. Together Strong!!
Van added another video to his channel today!
Van started a you tube channel to give weekly updates on how he is doing. Please tune in to his channel and subscribe for the updates. I will also add updates as we go so that everyone is aware of his journey. Currently we are in the waiting game. Waiting for a liver once a liver is available we will have 12 hours to be ready and in Pittsburgh for his transplant. Do to the distance we live from Pittsburgh they are requiring us to stay in Pittsburgh for at least 6 weeks after transplant so we will need to stay in a facility near the hospital so he can have weekly and then biweekly appts as recheck. With all this in mind we are trying to enjoy life while semi planning for what is ahead although this journey can take years we are praying for a quicker outcome. Van has been doing well and is following Dr's. Orders he is doing everything he can to insure that he is as healthy as he can be. It's a daily struggle for him and some does are hard, emotional, upsetting and others are great fun and relaxing. Each day he starts with pills and each night he ends with pills, although the amount of pills should decrease after transplant he will still have some to take most likely for the rest of his life. We are looking forward to the future and him getting better.
