Family and friends of Sophia Tomasoni are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with Catastrophic Illness.

Sophia is 10 years old and is a joyous soul to be around. She’s quite the young lady, resilient, witty, and unusually articulate for her age. She dreams of acting yet is shy, loves Jesus and cares for people, especially “little kids”.  Last year she was diagnosed with severe scoliosis. Her pediatric orthopedist recommends surgery as the only option. The procedure involves fusing together the bones of the spine with a possible 6-month recuperation period and lifelong complications.
Surgery would be a measure of last resort. I don’t think any loving parent would choose surgery if there were other options that minimized pain and risk.
So we embarked on a search for an alternative and found a medical facility specializing in scoliosis reduction.  The testimonials of their successes are impressive and indisputably documented.  Unfortunately, insurance companies will only cover conventional forms of treatment which means we have to cover all the expenses on our own.  Our current financial situation simply won’t allow it.  We long to minimize her suffering through this structured non-invasive treatment program but can’t do it without your generosity.
