David has Osteogenesis Imperfecta. He might have brittle bones but his spirit is unbreakable. David is a joy to be around; playful, honest and a tad mischievous. Due to his condition, he is confined to a wheel chair and needs to have a specially modified van for his transportation. North Carolina will fund his van modification, but it must be 2 years or younger; the vehicle purchase is on David. We found a 2023 with only 6700 miles on it. Still, $42,000 for a first car is steep.
David works and the Hayesville Ingles as a You-scan assistant and the Paris catering as a host. He works hard and is loved by all. He’s accomplished an associates degree and wants to become a linguist. He’s studied several different languages and has even written his own.
David’s family has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.

David is about a week away from driving his own van. Unfortunately, he's about $42,000 short. I remember driving my first truck when I was 16, David has ad to wait until he's 23, but he's a hard charger. He's halfway through the process of getting his drivers license and first handicap accessible van, customized for him to drive. North Carolina will cover about half of this $90,000 expense but that leaves David significantly short. Please donate soon for this effort.

David is about a week away from his first van. I drove my first truck when I was 16, he's 23 and finally getting to get close to the same freedom we enjoyed much younger. His expenses are above $90K but fortunately North Carolina will cover some of the expense. David is short about $42,000 which is way above his ability. Please help us help this hard working young man. He has two jobs and is loved by everyone in town.
