Family and friends of Melissia Boynton are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
Melissia has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. On May 12th (mothers day ) I had my heart transplant at 4pm at Vanderbilt University hospital. I'm doing great but still in the hospital. Hopefully I'll get discharged in the next couple of days. I have to stay in nashville for 6wks for my recovery. I miss home already but it's all worth it. I received the best gift ever. I now have a guardian angel for life. I'm so greatful

On April 28th 2024 I was officially listed at Vanderbilt hospital in Tennessee. So I am now duel listed at Piedmont in ATL and Vandy in TN. I continue to fight through this and I'm very confident with both teams at both hospitals.

Melissa im so sorry for what you are going through. I hope you know I’m always here for you . You are and always will be one of my best friends. We have gotten each other through some hard times . This is just another hurdle but Your a tough bitch and you got this . I love and miss you . Hang in there
