Please help Lisa with her medical expenses such as a service dog!

Lisa is a 42-year-old woman living with Spina Bifida since birth. Currently, she works part-time as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor specializing in trauma. She loves working with children and making arts and crafts. Lisa also enjoys spending time with her family, friends, cockatiel Java, and playing an active role in her Unitarian Universalist church community.

Lisa lives independently with the support of personal care assistants. She requires durable medical equipment and independent living aids that are not always covered by health insurance. Her current goal is to obtain a service dog that will help her with tasks such as picking up items she drops, getting help in an emergency such as a fall, and otherwise improving her physical and mental health.
