My name is Mack, and I am currently battling end-stage kidney failure. Each day, I take 16 pills in the morning, 21 pills at night, and 3 injections daily. I also undergo dialysis three times a week—Monday, Wednesday, and Friday—for 4 hours at a time. In addition, I rely on a CPAP machine every night to help me breathe while I sleep, which requires monthly supplies. Unfortunately, not all of my prescriptions and equipment are covered by insurance. For the medications and supplies that are essential but uncovered, my family pays about $700 a month out-of-pocket even after insurance has paid their portion.
I am also on the kidney transplant donor list in both the Tampa pool and the Orlando pool, which means I’m pulling from two different regions for a chance at new life. I’m doing everything in my power to stay ready and healthy for when that call comes, but with this illness, it is not easy. Still, I refuse to give up.
I am a husband of almost 20 years, a father to three beautiful daughters (ages 8, 17, and 19), and a student at Florida Theological Seminary. My wife is a dedicated elementary school teacher working with special needs children, all while pursuing her Master’s degree. Despite her hard work, she is now considering taking on a second job, since I am unable to work. Together, we’ve already exhausted our savings, retirement, 401(k), and investments just trying to stay afloat.
This is why I am asking for your help. No gift is too small—every donation matters. The funds raised here will not go directly to me, but to my trusted medical finance team. They will oversee every dollar to ensure it is used responsibly for medical bills, medications, dialysis treatments, CPAP supplies, transportation to appointments, and even food when needed.
My biggest concern is not myself—it’s my family. I want to be sure that no matter what happens, my wife and daughters are cared for and secure. Your generosity can help us breathe a little easier, give us stability during this uncertain time, and allow me to keep fighting with strength and hope.
Please consider making a gift today. Your support will directly impact my treatment and my family’s future. From the bottom of my heart—thank you

Subject: Urgent Appeal for Donations to Support Kidney Failure Patient and Family in Need of Transplant
Dear Compassionate Community Members,
I am reaching out to you today with a heartfelt plea for help on behalf of myself, a Christian man who deeply values faith and family, and my beloved family during this challenging time. My name is Mack, and I am a son, father, husband, brother, and uncle who finds strength in the love and support of my family and community.
I have been bravely battling end-stage kidney failure due to type 2 diabetes and hypertension, conditions that have plagued my family's history, particularly in our African-American bloodline. In late 2020, I received the devastating news that my kidneys were no longer functioning, leading me to undergo dialysis treatments diligently ever since. I have followed medical advice closely, attending all appointments and procedures, and I am now at the crucial junction of being placed on the transplant list.
Regrettably, the cost of post-transplant medications, amounting to a staggering $80,000 per month, has rendered me unable to work. I am reliant on disability benefits to make ends meet, while my wife, a dedicated public school teacher, does her utmost to support our family. Together, we are struggling to cover the overwhelming expenses that come with my medical condition, and we find ourselves in need of your compassionate assistance.
As a man of faith who fears God, I humbly ask for your support and generosity during this trying period. Your donation, no matter the size, will not only help alleviate the financial burden of my medical care but also provide hope and comfort to my family as we navigate this challenging journey together. Your kindness will not go unnoticed, and we will be forever grateful for your support.
I understand that everyone has their own financial obligations, and I respect any decision you make in response to this appeal. If you feel moved to help, I thank you from the depths of my heart. Your kindness will make a significant impact on our lives and bring rays of hope into our world during this dark time.
Please consider making a donation today to assist me and my family in our fight against kidney failure and in our pursuit of a better future. Your generosity will be a beacon of light in our lives, and we will carry your kindness with us always.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for considering our request for assistance. May you be blessed abundantly for your compassion and support.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Reverend Mack Drumgo II
I, Mack Drumgo, am here to making an apparel for help with a kidney failure patient that's an end stage kidney failure suffering from type two diabetes and hypertension this has been in the genetics of my family for the history of the family, especially in the African-American bloodline. I found out I had kidney failure around late 2020 when I went to the hospital very ill and the doctor explained my kidney is 100% not functioning since then I've been on dialysis for years not missing any treatments constantly going to my doctors appointments doing everything as requested and now I'm at the junction of being on the transplant list. Unfortunately, due to the expense of the medication post transplant, I am not working. I am on disability. My wife is a public school teacher and together we do not make enough money to cover the $80,000 a month medication bill sent to Help places on your heart or whatever feeling is in your heart or whatever the universe is telling you whatever you get your source of life or energy from Them and if they say yes and you feel for calls, please do if you don't feel moved to do that don't mean don't bless that just mean that Blessing wasn't for me. Continue to bless somebody. Thank you.
