Before Kevin’s diagnosis, he worked in food service for a local hospital’s dietary department. He enjoyed the interactions of serving patients, his colleagues, and the public each day. At home, Kevin enjoyed working with his hands, fixing things around the house and cooking on his griddle. He mainly enjoyed spending quality time with his wife and family.
He is now 56 years old and in dire need of a double lung transplant due to a progressive form of Pulmonary Fibrosis, Kevin can no longer work and will need a transplant to live. A transplant will allow him to live and provide for his family and to spend time with friends again.
If you are able, please make a donation to Help Hope Live in honor of Kevin and share his fundraising page with your community to help Kevin breathe again.
Thank you for your support.
Family and friends of Kevin Griffith are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
Kevin has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.

Thank you for your support!
Kevin received "the call" on June 11, 2024 and received the gift of new lungs on June 12, 2024. He was discharged on June 27, 2024, and is now recuperating. He must continue to raise the funds needed to cover the lifetime of doctors' appointments and post-transplant procedures he will undergo. Kevin currently has Medicaid but will lose it next year when he switches to Medicare. Medicare will not cover any post-transplant medications since the transplant is now a pre-existing condition.
Kevin is grateful for the donations to come, and the funds already raised in his honor.

God loves you so much that he sent his son to die on the cross for you. Regardless what happens in this fallen world, you can have eternal life with him. If you haven’t made that commitment, I’d ask you consider.
