Kirsten Martin is raising money to pay for uninsured medical expenses associated with her kidney transplant. Kirsten lives in Ankeny, IA. She is being treated at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines.

PENDING COMMITTEE APPROVAL ON WEDNESDAY, WE ARE SCHEDULED FOR TRANSPLANT ON JUNE 16th!! MY NEW ANGEL IS DENA CAMPER, A DEAR FRIEND WHO SELFLESSLY OFFERED HER KIDNEY TO ME! AFTER 2 OTHER DONORS, THIS WAS A SIGH OF RELIEF AND A REASON TO CELBRATE!! KEEP US IN YOUR PRAYERS IF YOU WOULD!!!

Transplant Update
Our surgery was indeed June 16, 2009! Both Dena and I are doing well and are back to work! Thank you all for all your prayers, concerns and contributions!! The fundraising effort that we did last year has certainly helped out greatly!! I am forever grateful!!
