After many, many tests, I finally made it on the Liver Transplant Waiting List... and now I wait.
It was a reality shock, to think that this is my only way to be able to live longer.
I live 3 and a half hours away from Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. 24 hours a day, they could call and give me 4 hrs to get there for surgery
My brain is always on hyper-drive. Constantly wondering what if I get a call today, do I have things ready to go?
That is where I need you to help, if you feel so inclined. After I receive my new liver, I will be on many expensive medicines for the rest of my life.
Please help me if you can. It truly would be appreciated.
