We are reaching out to you on behalf of Richard Silverthorn, a youthful and strong 56-year-old construction supervisor. Richard has always been the picture of health, never experiencing any medical issues until recently when he suffered a massive heart attach which led to cardiogenic shock. Richard was transported to the hospital by helicopter and put into a medically induced coma. This unexpected event led to a life-saving heart transplant. God answered prayers, but the family needs help during recovery.

Richard is not just a hardworking and dedicated professional; he is an amazing, thoughtful person who loves to serve, is devoted to his church, and is a God-loving Christian. He is a loving husband to his wife Janice and a proud grandfather to his amazing grandkids. Despite his strength and resilience, and this amazing gift from God, Richard now faces significant medical expense. Richard’s employer was a small company that unfortunately had no short term/long-term disability or cobra options. He is going to require months of physical therapy and specialty medication from a compound pharmacy to sustain his new heart.
