Hello! My name is Rick. I was diagnosed with end-stage liver disease (cirrhosis) about 7 years ago. Since then I’ve been living with the struggles that this disease has done to my body. I use to be able to work, play golf, do the yardwork, take my wife out for date night and play with my three beautiful granddaughters, but all that has ended. Doctors say that my liver is failing and that I need a transplant… there is no other cure. They sent me to see an excellent team of surgeons in Utah. They are currently fast-tracking me through their process as I was at end-stage liver disease. I am finally on a waiting list for transplant as my only option.

I have a loving and beautiful wife Lydia of 36 years. I have a daughter, Nicolette, who is nothing but amazing and I have a wonderful son-in-law Christopher who are currently raising and home schooling their three beautiful girls, my very special granddaughters! Nicolette is the one who has shown me and my wife the pathway to finding the Father through rebirth and learning to live a life according to God’s light and love. I feel so blessed to have all their love and support as I enter into this procedure. I accept that God has a plan for all of us and I accept that whatever it means for me. Whether I make it through this surgery or not, I will accept it. If I do make it, then that tells me that God isn’t done with me yet and has greater plans for me; to share my testimony about what God has done for me, of His great love and forgiveness in hopes to bring others to Him. Thank you for your love and support! I love you!
