Hi, I am on this journey for a transplant. Here is the short verison of my story. Stress caused a heart attack, and doctors decided to do a heart cath to make sure arteries were open: yo go home in a few hours. Instead blood clots were formed when the cath went into my artery and killed me. I never should have survived. My heart spazzed and the doctor ripped the cath out shredding my heart artery. I had 3 open heart surgies in 30 hours, died 4x, a coma for a month, bashed my front teeth out, gangrene on toes, I lost all 5 toes on right foot, and woke up on dialysis with 50lbs of fluid on me. Prior to these I was a active person. I was on dialysis for 3 months and kidneys started to heal. It took me 3 years to learn how to walk after multiple surgies on foot with no rehab. Not sure how I got skipped in rehab…… And then my kidneys failed completely and I try to live a normal live but the reality is I don’t. My life got thrown upside down and live as I know it is gone. I don’t function 3 days out of the week and the other 4 I try to help my mom with her MS and be there for my family. Physically and outside appearances I look great where in reality my kidneys don’t work which complicate my heart.
I am asking for help with my situation. I have to travel an hour each way to dialysis and all my doctor appts are 2 hours away each way and I’m struggling. I would love to work, but I’m not reliable not to be sick and Sure I could suck it up, but if I show income I loose my benefits and I can’t risk that. If you can not help financially I would be greatful if you share my link with others as the more who sees this the better my chances.

I was surprised as ever when Tuesday at 11pm I got "the call" I had a kidney waiting and have had a transplant Wednesday.
I love the oudoors, so every Saturday in the summer I go to the lake. It is very tranquil and calming. I play with my dogs and try to spend as much time as I can with my family for we all know tomorrow isn't promised. I have even started golfing... hummmmm I like driving the cart.
Hi I am on this journey for a kidney transplant.
