JONATHAN NEEDS YOUR HELP!
Jonathan is a 12 year old who has a rare muscle disease called Titin Myopathy since birth. It is a genetic myopathy In which the Titin protein is dysfunctional, causing muscles not to contract and relax normally leading to muscle weakness and fatigue. Titin is found in both skeletal and cardiac muscles which Jonathan has been found to have effecting his everyday life. It is also known for effecting the Lungs and Heart. This disorder has been progressive and severely disabling to him.Jonathan is non- ambulatory and uses a Motorized Wheelchair for all his mobility. His condition is permanent and in etiology and will not improve. With all this, We would like Jonathan to have a Mobility Van so he can safely attend school, medical appointments, Be able to see his family and friends and also so he can socialize. Jonathan loves The Philadelphia Eagles and would love to attend a game. The mobility van would relieve alot of stress and benefit Jonathan in a positive way. Jonathan would be able to get out of the house and enjoy the outdoors and see things that other children experience on a day to days basis. We our asking for your support to make this goal happen for Jonathan. We are grateful for any donation you can contribute to this fundraiser.
Our family and friends are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live in honor of Jonathan to fund uninsured medical expenses. We have chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.
Please consider sharing Jonathan’s page on your social media platforms.

My older brother, Josh, had Duchenne muscular dystrophy and I know all too well the importance of a vehicle dedicated to the needs of people that rely on wheelchairs. When he was unable to walk in leg braces anymore in his mid-teens and switched to an electric wheelchair full time, our father bought a large, ugly van and had a lift installed. Without that van, I don't know if our family could have had as normal of a life as we did. It meant that if we ever left him at home when the rest of us went somewhere, it was only because he was being insufferable (which he often was), not because we couldn't bring him.
I hope this campaign ends in absolute success and Jonathan never has to wonder if he can get somewhere safely and comfortably.
