Peyton needs your help to purchase a wheelchair accessible van. Peyton was born with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) type zero. It is the most severe type of SMA.

Her doctors said she only had a few weeks to live. Peyton has defied the odds. She is about to be six years old and is almost 60lbs. Now that Peyton is getting bigger it is becoming very difficult to transfer her into the van that we currently have. She will soon outgrow her car seat. She recently got her first power wheelchair which makes it easier and safer to transport her when she is in the proper vehicle. This wheelchair is 377lbs. We cannot physically lift it into the current van and the current van is not set up to be wheelchair accessible.

When purchasing a wheelchair accessible van you are not only purchasing the vehicle you are also paying for the modifications. We have been looking at vans and have been quoted $95,000 for a wheelchair assessable van. This is where we need YOUR help! Please consider donating to help Peyton get the van she needs. So many of you have helped Peyton over the last six years in different ways. It really does take a village!
