Help Hope Live for Rebecca Ferguson

Help Becky get new lungs and breathe easier again!

Becky was 29 years old when she was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, occurring shortly after she moved to Kohler, WI with her husband, Kevin, and their 18-month-old son, Darby. Over the next years, Becky battled the cancer twice, including having a stem cell transplant, before successfully defeating it. Unfortunately, the radiation treatments that helped save her life also scarred her lungs and triggered deadly pulmonary fibrosis. She now has end-stage lung disease and is working with the University of Wisconsin’s Transplant Center in Madison to become a candidate for a double lung transplant. She is on track to be placed on their transplant list in mid-October 2024. Tragically, her husband, Kevin, has also been diagnosed with stage four kidney cancer, which is incurable. Their sweet son, Darby, is now fourteen years old and faces the heartbreaking prospect of losing both his parents within two years, unless Becky has a successful double lung transplant.

December 5, 2025

Although Becky was placed on the lung transplant list in October 2024, she has not yet been offered new lungs. Thankfully, her health has been stable through this long wait time.Sadly, Becky’s husband, Kevin, died in September 2025 from his kidney cancer. Becky and Kevin’s families remain committed to supporting her and their son, Darby, through Becky’s transplant and recovery. We pray she will be offered new lungs soon. Thank you very much for your support!
