Help Hope Live for Jordan Royster

At 18, I got diagnosed with Lupus Nephritis, and it’s been a wild ride since, as it’s taken a toll on my kidneys. Fast forward to now, just shy of 30, and things are getting a bit trickier. My nephrologist is gearing me up for dialysis and has referred me to the transplant team at my local hospital. A kidney transplant isn’t just an option; it’s the lifeline to improving my quality of life and giving me more time with the amazing people and animals in my life. The twist? The financial side of it is overwhelming. Insurance covers some, but not nearly enough. Then there’s the cost of post-transplant care and anti rejection medication. While I’m recovering, I’ll be staying with my parents, so this fundraiser also helps with those expenses. This fundraiser was created to cover the deductible plus post transplant care. While my peers are planning international trips for their 30th, I am needing to fundraise for my transplant. I just want the opportunity to celebrate more birthdays. By sharing or donating, you’re not just easing a financial burden; you’re giving me and my family the chance to focus on what truly matters – my recovery. Every bit helps, no matter the size.

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. We made it to the amount needed to satisfy my financial requirement!! The fundraising is far from over though. I still need to raise funds for continued medical tests and then eventually my transplant. Please keep sharing!
